FAQ

Where the films can be applied?

The films can be applied on any of the inner and outer glass surfaces; windows, showcases, counters, glazing of doors, glass partitions and roofs of buildings, car windows, etc.

Do the window films distort the visibility?

Window films that are properly applied to the glass, do not reduce its transparency. To the naked eye it is almost impossible to detect the presence of transparent film on glass.

Is it true that the films are subject to fading when exposed to UV rays?

Window films can maintain their colour and properties for a long period of time under the influence of intense solar radiation, as well as prevent its effect on the premises and people in it by filtering out up to 98% of UV rays.

Is it true that the films significantly raise the price of glass?

This statement is incorrect.
Unlike special types of glass produced industrially, the films are several times cheaper.

Is it true that after application of the film on glass the house plants die?

The vast majority of indoor plants can not tolerate direct sunlight, that cause burns of the leaves and desiccate the soil, this is why after application of the films to the glass, they gain "green mass" faster.

Can I install a protective (anti-shock) film on glass outside the building?

No. Strengthening coating should always be positioned on the side opposite of the possible impact. In addition, the protective film should not be subjected to weathering.

Is it true that glass reinforced by the protective film, can not be broken?

No, it is not true. Any glass can be broken, but the glass with the film applied to it, even if broken, will maintain the integrity and its functions for the protection of the premises from intrusion.

Can the protective film replace the grating?

Yes, if the purpose of application of gratings is impeding unauthorized entry into the premises. A strike with a hard object on the glass with impact resistant film breaches a hole of approximately the same size as the tool of influence. It takes a long time to extend the breach required for room access. That means that security officers would have an opportunity to respond to the alarm and prevent crime. In addition, any object thrown into the glass with inhibitor film, whether it is a rock, grenade or Molotov cocktail, gets back and stays outside. If there is a need to leave the room through the window (e.g, in a fire), the glass can be easily squeezed from inside.

Is it possible to simultaneously strengthen and tone the glass?

Yes, it is. There are protective (impact resistant) and at the same time toning films. Thickness from 127 microns to 220 microns, colour - silver, graphite and bronze. In addition, toning can be done in two steps: first, application of the transparent protective film, followed by the toning film.

Is there a film, through which I would see, but I would not bee seen?

In principle, the films with unilateral transparency do not exist. This is possible if you are at less illuminated side, i.e., if you are in the room and outside the bright sun shines - from the street the surface of the glass will look like a mirror. If at night the light in the room is turned on, from the street the silhouettes will be visible.

Can I apply the film purchased from you, by myself?

It is possible, but not desirable. It is best to entrust the application to our experts, in order to avoid additional costs for re-application of the film due to poor quality of application. If it is the inhibitor film and requires a certificate P1A(SU-1), P2A(SU-2) and P2A(SU-3), or other document, the application should be performed only by us, because the documents of the class of protection are given by the firm that had performed the application.
